Blaze – ginger male, approx. 3 years old
Blaze came into foster as a terrified boy — hissing, growling and swiping if anyone came near him. He also had a nasty abscess on his ear that needed ongoing veterinary treatment and care.
But after a couple of weeks, Blaze did a complete 180… and has turned into one of the most affectionate cats his fosterer has ever met.
Blaze absolutely adores people and loves being held, cuddled and fussed over. He’s happiest curled up on a lap or stretched out beside his humans, and will happily follow you around the house chatting away to you. He truly craves companionship and affection.
Blaze is playful and curious, enjoying feather toys, catnip mice and watching the world go by from the window. He’s also developed a particular fascination with the neighbour’s cats, purring and meowing when they come to visit at the patio doors. While he hasn’t been formally introduced to other cats yet, he has shown no signs of aggression and would be able to live with another calm cat following slow introductions.
One thing is certain — Blaze would really love access to safe outdoor space in his future home, as he’s very interested in the outdoors.
His only arch nemeses are the vacuum cleaner and hair dryer, both of which he strongly objects to!
We are looking for somebody who truly wants a lap cat — somebody who can give Blaze the love, affection and companionship he absolutely thrives on. After everything he’s been through, he deserves a home where he can finally settle, feel safe, and be adored 
Blaze is neutered and has had his first vaccinations. His adopted will need to return him to Vet4Pets in Stockport for his second vaccinations.
All RK cats are wormed/flead to date and chipped. We provide 4 weeks free Petplan insurance on adoption.

These cats are in Manchester – you must be able to collect from Manchester, M34 or Stockport, SK4. Please do not apply if you are unable to take within a week after a successful home check.
If you live in rented accommodation please ensure you have proof of landlord permission before you apply.
If you already have cats, they must be neutered, fully vaccinated and up to date with boosters. Please ensure you have proof of vaccination status before you apply.
